David Beevers and Annabel Westman will speak about recent renovations to the Saloon, including Annabel’s thrilling rediscovery of the original fabrics. David will then discuss several of the extraordinary objects in that room originally commissioned for Brighton by George IV, which are currently on loan to the Pavilion from Buckingham Palace. This unprecedented loan of some 150 objects is, in David’s own words, “a curator’s dream.”
