We are excited to announce the date for our annual Mid-Winter Reunion. Please join us at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, during the fabulous 70th annual Winter Show at the Park Avenue Armory in the historic Board of Officers Room.

As in 2023, we are excited to welcome prospective Attingham course applicants and colleagues from the Society of Winterthur Fellows, an alumni organization serving the two MA programs offered by Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library and the University of Delaware.

Your day at the The Show culminates with our party, featuring a drinks reception and passed hors d’oeuvres, ending at 8:00 p.m. We also invite you to  attend the Winter Show panel discussion “Americana is Now: Four Perspectives on Collecting” with Attingham alum Steven Spandle ’11, LHC ’14, earlier that afternoon. Complimentary admission to The Show has been graciously included in your Mid-Winter Reunion ticket, so please enjoy perusing the exhibitors before and after the panel discussion and our party kicks off at 6pm.

Individual tickets are $42 per person (+ $4.65 Eventbrite processing fee). Registration ends January 17, 2024. Payment by check will be accepted at the door for a limited number of walk-up Attingham and SOWF alumni, so please buy your ticket in advance with the button below.

The Armory building was completed in 1881 and the Board of Officers Room is one of the few surviving Herter Brothers interiors in the country. Herter Brothers was a top cabinet-making and interior design firm in the mid-19th century and designed the Fifth Avenue mansion of William H. Vanderbilt (now demolished). This room was exquisitely restored in 2013 and still retains the original painted surfaces and magnificent mahogany woodwork.
