Application for U.S. Residents

Applicants will be notified of the decisions of the Selection Committee by mid-March. Immediately upon notification of acceptance general enrollees must make a deposit of $500, by check payable to American Friends of Attingham, as partial payment for the course (students receiving scholarships, $250). The balance of the fee is due by April 28, 2018. We are unable to accept foreign checks. Participants are strongly advised to insure against cancellation as refunds will not be made following payment.

Applicants Reapplying: Applicants who have applied within the past two years (Summer School 2016 and 2017), but have not been accepted, may reapply with the application fee waived. The Selection Committee does not give preference to reapplications; it is therefore recommended, but not required, that you submit an updated personal statement and new letters of recommendation.

Please note: You cannot submit the form until all required fields (noted by *) are filled in. If a required field does not apply to you, please indicate “n/a”. Handwritten applications will be disqualified. Unsolicited materials (resumes, publications, etc.) will not be reviewed by the Selection Committee.
